Enjoy an exhilirating half day eco-journey on the Panama Canal, experiencing some of Panama's most unspoiled sights and sounds. You'll leave the dock and be driven by motorcoach to Gamboa to meet your Panama naturalist guide. Then, you'll continue via motorboat up the Panama Canal, travelling where larger ships cannot, through routes crossed Panama long before the creation of the lakes.

You will slowly cruise along the forested banks of Gatun Lake, towards Monkey Island - a protected nature area and the first stop on your tour. Monkey Island is home to an adundance of wildlife. You can see howler monkeys, three-toed sloths, capuchin monkeys and several species of toucans.

The you'll get back on the boat and visit the remote Sounds of Silence Island, where you will have time to relax and enjoy a picnic. You can also explore the island on your own, or enjoy kayaking, fishing or swimming. Or, just relax on the island, sipping cool drinks and taking in the area's beauty.
